Our Team

OnPoint Staff are personable, friendly, and committed to the success of your business or event. OnPoint provides exceptional security agents to our customers through our dual approach of our extensive training program and employee ownership. Every staff member serving at a client site receives over 50 hours of basic training as they enter OnPoint, supplemented each year with specialized trainings. These courses go far beyond the 24 hours of training required by NY State law and include:

  • Customer Service, Courtesy, and Professionalism

  • Guarding at the Site customized to each OnPoint location

  • Loss prevention

  • Event Security and Anti-Terrorism

  • Crisis Intervention and De-escalation

  • Fire-guard preparation 

  • School guard training preparation

  • CPR/AED (Red Cross Trained)

Background Screening and Interview Process:


On Point hires only candidates who can demonstrate a clean background check and have passed our multi-interview screening process. Our background checks include:

  • FBI fingerprint clearance (provided by the state)

  • Dept of Corrections Criminal search

  • Nationwide Sex Offender Registry

  • Personal & Work References


OnPoint has a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and considers it grounds for immediate termination.
